Learning Skills System

General Info

16 June 2026

The Learning System of The Classic L2 Eclipse was developed to make the initial progression smoother, more comfortable, and accessible, without removing the classic experience of evolving in Lineage 2.

In the early levels, the focus is to allow the player to progress quickly, experiment with their class, and enjoy the content without worrying about obtaining skill books.

How does it work?

Up to Level 39

During the initial progression, the player will not need to obtain books or visit specific NPCs for learning.

This means that:

  • Skills will be learned normally as the character levels up
  • There will be no need to search for skill books
  • The initial progression becomes faster and more comfortable
  • The player can fully focus on leveling and learning their class

Our goal is to reduce the difficulty of the early game and make the initial experience more enjoyable, especially for new players.

From Level 40

After reaching level 40, the system changes to a format closer to the classic experience of Lineage 2.

From this point on, the player will need to obtain skill books manually to continue evolving their skills.

These books can be obtained through:

  • Hunting Zones
  • Kamaloka Instances
  • Other game content related to progression

This brings greater importance to farming, world exploration, and character evolution planning.

Balance between Comfort and Classic Progression

The system was designed to deliver the best of both worlds.

In the early levels, the player has a more comfortable and accessible progression.

In the mid and late game, the system returns to the classic proposal of Lineage 2, where acquiring new books and evolving skills is part of the character's journey.

In this way, we manage to reduce the initial barrier without removing the identity of the game.
